We are seeking an enthusiastic, digital-savvy Social Media Intern to join our team. This is a volunteer, part-time, home-based opportunity. Our remote team works collaboratively using Zoom, Gchat, and Google Drive. Together, we are a passionate and dynamic group, committed to creating a platform that spreads kindness and positivity while making a tangible social impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Assist our Marketing Coordinator in planning, creating, and scheduling social media content (images, videos, and copy).
• Monitor and respond to comments while actively engaging with our growing community on social platforms.
• Work collaboratively with the Yamji team to ensure that social media efforts align with our organizational objectives, initiatives, and content marketing strategies.

TIME COMMITMENT

Minimum of ten hours per month.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate for this volunteer position is:

• Knowledgeable about social media innovation, strategy, and execution.
• Independent, self-starting, and comfortable in a remote working environment.
• Strong in verbal and written communication.
• Passionate about promoting positivity, giving back, and building meaningful connections through Yamji.

Preferred Experience in:

• Instagram and LinkedIn strategy.
• Creating engaging reels and carousels.
• Writing engaging and thoughtful captions.
  Bonus Skills: Graphic design, Google AdWords, WordPress, Buffer, ChatGPT.
